    The weekly soccer lessons are designed to maximize enjoyment for the participants and to improve physical abilities, build self-confidence, cultivate a foundation of good sportsmanship and the value of effort. Our goal is to produce confident, skilled soccer players who love the game of soccer and will reach their full potential. These lessons present a unique way for participants to build skill level by progressing the athletes through fundamental soccer skills in great detail each week. All athletes will receive progressive report cards. We are excited to have introduced our 5 Star development levels. Motivation, focus and understanding are all part of 5 criteria! The soccer program is designed for beginners, intermediate and advance kids. TAC’s coaches are Ontario Soccer Association certified and provide a great 1:4 coach/student ratio.

    Our TAC Tennis program is designed to focuses on fun games and drills for students from the beginner to advanced skill level.  We focus on developing the fundamental techniques such as groundstrokes, volleys, overhead smash and serves. Advanced students focus on advanced techniques, strategy and the mental aspects of the game. 

    The TAC Tennis school programs are designed to follow the programs LTAD (the Long Term Athlete Development Plan of Canada) and the OTA (Ontario Tennis Association). Appropriate court size and balls are used. 

    *Our tennis programs are very adaptable.  We use mini nets and bring all the equipment required.  Tennis can be played in any size gym and on almost any hard surface.

    Our badminton programisdesignedfor maximum fun andprogressive skill development. TAC Sports badminton uses gradual progression of skills and hand eye co-ordination, skill levels and fun games and challenges to make a complete program for children aged 4-16. The main aspects of badminton are covered with more advanced techniques for already experienced players.

    Fun badminton skill building games are introduced leading up to rallies and then to full out matches and badminton tournaments within the class.

    This new exciting Martial Arts program is offered by Toronto Athletic Camps (TAC) for both boys and girls. The program has been developed by a seasoned Shotokan Karate instructor with eight years of experience teaching and fifteen years of practice. The Mixed Martial Arts program focuses on developing a healthy, strong and resilient body, placing much emphasis on cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength and conditioning. This engaging program also stresses discipline, respect and self-control. Coordination, balance, mental and muscle memory and cardiovascular health is improved, and the benefits obtained from this program are not only physical, but emotional and practical. All skill level and abilities are welcome.

    Cartoon Unleashed is an initiative that works tirelessly to unleash children’s creativity and imagination through the medium of drawing cartoons. Our main objectives are to teach students to embrace their imagination and use it to innovate and create new solutions to everyday problems, as well as to learn that there are no limitations to their creativity!
    Toronto Athletic Camps provide a variety of programs in which students can learn the different aspects of character and story development and how to bring them, along with their fantasy worlds to life. This is all accomplished while improving on current drawing techniques and learning new ones. We are strongly committed to creating a fun, engaging, imaginative, cooperative and inspiring environment, that will act as a strong foundation for children to grow as confident problem solvers, visionary leaders and brilliant creators.

Junior School and Highschool

  • Fit. Strong. Mighty
  • Fit. Strong. Mighty

    “Fit. Strong. Mighty” is a program designed for increasing body strength, fitness, and a confident self-image for students developed by Toronto Athletic Camps Inc.

    STORY: There is a significant lack of attention to building a healthy lifestyle for teens in the current high-school curriculum. There is little instruction on proper fitness principles, how to create and maintain an ideal body, and how to eat with proper nutrition. It is a priority for teens to learn between the ages of 13-18. It is our mission to teach students how to build a body they are proud of, be confident in the knowledge of how to maintain an active lifestyle, and how to increase self-image while creating a positive vision for their future health and relationship goals.


    The primary pillars and learnings of the program are:

    1. Body weight training
    2. Yoga and stretching
    3. Learning the concepts of basic nutrition
    4. Understanding metabolism, body structures and different body types
    5. Vocal projection for confidence
    6. Future Vision: Creating a compelling vision for the future

  • What are the qualifications of your instructors? Do they have First Aid and Police Cheques?

    All of our instructors are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program of Canada or something equivalent. All of our instructors have first aid training and are required to have a police check before joining the TAC Sports team. First Aid training get redone on a yearly basis to ensure top safety for all of our students.

    We are school board approved from the Toronto District School Board, the York Regional School board, and approved for individual Private and Catholic Schools. 

     

  • What is your long-term development plan?

    Our long-term development plan is devised based on the Long-Term Athlete Plan (LTAD) from Canadian Sports for Life and the National Coaching Certification Program of Canada. This ensures that every child is at an appropriate level for their age and their development. We also use it to track the development and enhance the speed of their development as well.

  • Financial Aid and Assistance - Be Extraordinary

    Our ‘Be Extraordinary’ program allows 2 children from every program, lunch or afterschool, to enter for free. The student needs to demonstrate the desire to enter the program in a short description.
